Chronic pain disrupting your whole life?
It can feel isolating…
-To not participate in life fully
-To suffer in silence
-To not be able to do the things you used to do
Are medical interventions not cutting it?
Are you told there is nothing wrong with you?
Are medications only helping a little bit?
Do you keep getting referred to a different specialist?
Does relief from procedures only last a short time?
Are you unable to take off more work for your pain?
And when you find something that helps…
You might experience some of these roadblocks:
-It’s too expensive to continue
-You can’t afford the time off work
-Your insurance won’t cover it
-The intervention stops working
But you have not run out of options.
You can advocate for yourself by:
-Showing up to doctors’ appointments
-Trying new procedures and medications
But that’s only part of the solution…
You have much more control than you realize.
You might not be able to wave a magic wand and take your pain away…
But you can have the tools to thrive regardless.
“I am able to function so much better and finally feel safe to start dating again.”
-Sarah 30 years old-Endometriosis
It can feel so defeating to go from one failed medical intervention to another…
But once you take your power back, amazing things can happen.
